I research called "hologram" technology this year, what is meaning of Hologram? It means a hologram can be thought of as a three-dimensional picture. It is actually a record of laser light wave interference. This complicated record of information about the size, shape and contrast of the original object is reconstructed into a matching 3-D copy. The word "holography" comes from the Greek "holos," meaning "whole view."

Deaf Lawyer to Head FCC's Disability Rights Office

There is some good news about the Deaf Lawyer who is the Head of FCC's Disability Rights Office. He is the deaf from USA. It is very impressing that a deaf lawyer became the head of the office. If you didn’t know about it, there is the information about him, and go read about this.

Gregory Hilibok has been named the new head of the Federal Communications Commission's Disability Rights Office - the first time a person with a disability has headed the office. Hilibok, who is deaf, has been an attorney in the office since 2001. His appointment comes as the FCC moves to implement the 21st Century Communications and Video Accessibility Act.

In the spring of 2009, Deaf Community Access Centre (CAC) set up an Internet Café at the Deaf Anglo Literacy Center (DALC). Since then, every Tuesday and Thursday deaf people have been coming to the Café not only enjoy a free Internet access but also socialize with each other. An ASL speaking instructor has been always on hand to offer assistance. The Café has become so popular that it was kept open during the summer months and its open hours were extended in the fall.
